There’s something so special about documenting this in-between season, where anticipation, excitement, and quiet moments all intertwine. Jessie and Jeff’s maternity session in Philadelphia captured exactly that, set against the timeless charm of Old City and the soft glow of a winter sunset.

We began by strolling through their neighborhood, letting the city naturally shape the session. Old City offered the perfect backdrop, textured brick, historic streets, and effortlessly cool corners that gave their photos a chic, editorial feel. Jessie and Jeff moved through it all with such ease, soaking in this moment together before their lives shift in the most beautiful way.

There was something so personal about capturing them in a place that already holds so much meaning in their day-to-day life. These weren’t just portraits, they were glimpses into this chapter of their story. As the evening unfolded, we made our way to Race Street Pier just in time for sunset. The light softened, and the entire scene turned into something truly dreamy. The blues of the sky and water reflected so beautifully, with the Benjamin Franklin Bridge stretching across the background like a painting.
