A City-Chic Crystal Tea Room Wedding

Leigh and Andrew’s February wedding in the heart of Philadelphia was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern city style. From a snow-dusted first look to their candlelit reception at the iconic Crystal Team Room, every detail was effortless and chic, just like them! The day began at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia, where Leigh got ready with her closest people. Her look was classic and refined- a strapless gown with detachable sleeves that felt both timeless and fashion-forward. It was the perfect choice for a winter wedding in the city!

Leigh and Andrew’s first look took place high above the city on one of the upper floors of the Loews, where giant windows framed views of the skyline. We love that we were eye-level with the skyscrapers, it created such a striking and unique backdrop. Just as they saw each other for the first time, snow began to fall softly outside. It added a touch of magic to the moment.

Their ceremony took place at a church in Center City, just a short walk from the rest of the day’s festivities. Leigh and Andrew couldn’t stop smiling throughout. The joy between them was so genuine. Afterward, we made our way to the Crystal Tea Room, stopping briefly on the rainy city streets. Andrew held an umbrella over Leigh as they strolled together, and it made for the sweetest candid photos. Even in the drizzle, they looked completely at ease and fully in the moment.

Inside the Crystal Tea Room, we had the best time photographing their bridal party and families. We took full advantage of the moody bar room with its rich wood tones and deep blue velvet couches. Everyone gathered around the couple for what turned into a full-on Vogue moment, fun, stylish, and full of energy! Leigh and Andrew posed with martinis in hand, channeling that cool, editorial vibe Leigh had envisioned. For their couples portraits, Leigh specifically requested direct flash and city-chic vibes, and we’re obsessed with how it all turned out. Helping her bring that vision to life was such a fun part of the day, and the result was a gallery full of bold, stylish portraits that feel modern yet timeless.

In the main ballroom, the reception space was a warm and romantic escape. Hundreds of candles lined the tables, casting a golden glow that reflected off the crystal chandeliers above. The ambiance was cozy yet elevated. It was such a joy spending the day with Leigh and Andrew and capturing their celebration in Philadelphia. Every moment felt true to them- full of style, warmth, and love.
