A Classic Philadelphia Wedding at The Lucy by Cescaphe

Julia and Gaige’s Philadelphia wedding day was the perfect mix of classic city charm and modern romance. Their celebration at The Lucy by Cescaphe unfolded across some of our favorite Philadelphia photo locations—from the marble columns of Old City to the lively streets near City Hall. The morning began at the Cambria Hotel, where Julia got ready with her bridesmaids before heading to Old City for her first look with Gaige. The Merchants’ Exchange Building set the scene for this moment. White marble architecture and soft June sunlight created the perfect backdrop for portraits. Julia’s colorful bouquet popped beautifully against the neutral tones of the building.

Her bridesmaids wore soft pink dresses, complementing the romantic palette, while the groomsmen looked timeless in classic black tuxes. We strolled around the nearby block, weaving in touches of greenery and charming brick pathways for a variety of looks before hopping onto the Cescaphe trolley for more portraits around the city! Our next stop was the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where the iconic steps offered sweeping views and golden afternoon light. Finally, we made our way to Broad Street, right outside The Lucy, for the must-have Philadelphia wedding portraits with City Hall perfectly framed in the background.

Inside The Lucy, the ceremony space glowed with candlelight, setting the tone for a romantic evening ahead. The reception that followed was stunning. The space was filled with countless candles, lush floral centerpieces, and elegant gold accents that transformed the room into a dreamy celebration space. Julia and Gaige danced the night away surrounded by family and friends, the city lights shimmering just outside. It was a celebration full of warmth, joy, and timeless Philadelphia elegance.
