A Colorful Spring Wedding at Hotel LBI

Sam and Kyle’s Hotel LBI wedding was full of joy, sunshine, and the sweetest moments. We absolutely loved capturing their celebration at this coastal Long Beach Island venue, it’s such a stunning backdrop for a wedding day. With charming architecture, peaceful rooftop views, and beautiful natural light, Hotel LBI photographs so beautifully.

Fun fact: we were recommended to Sam & Kyle by one of our past couples, Paxton & Brian. Sam’s sister, who was Sam’s maid of honor, was also Paxton’s maid of honor at her wedding in 2023. The day began in one of the hotel’s bright and airy suites, where Sam got ready with her closest friends. The blue walls and beachy decor added such a fun, relaxed feel to the morning. Sam’s energy was infectious. Her smile was so bright and it was such a joy photographing her during those getting ready moments. Once she slipped into her gown, we stepped out to the wraparound balcony on the main level of the hotel for her first look with Kyle.

This quiet spot was the perfect setting: coastal wood paneling, hanging florals along the fence, and a peaceful breeze. Sam and Kyle’s first look was so sweet, and their connection was obvious from the start. We captured some of our favorite portraits on the balcony before heading to the rooftop for the ceremony. The rooftop at Hotel LBI offers gorgeous views and an open-air setting that feels so intimate and unique. Sam and Kyle exchanged personal vows, and the ceremony was filled with emotion. There wasn’t a dry eye among their guests! It was heartfelt, genuine, and so full of love.

Before the celebration began, we returned to the deck for one more special moment: Sam revealed her dress change. Her ballgown skirt came off, showing off the sparkly fitted silhouette underneath. It was such a fun transition from ceremony to reception, and she looked incredible! The evening continued in the hotel’s main ballroom, where floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings created the most stunning setting for a night of dancing and celebration.

The dance floor was packed for hours. Sam and Kyle’s guests brought so much energy, and we’re obsessed with all the fun, candid photos we captured! Before the night ended, we snuck away for a few quiet rooftop sunset portraits. The light was soft, the air still, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the beautiful day.
