A Dreamy Engagement At Barnegat Light, LBI

Liz and Michael’s engagement session at Barnegat Light on Long Beach Island, NJ, was a so beautiful! With the iconic Barnegat Lighthouse as a backdrop and the serene landscapes of the surrounding state park, this shoot was nothing short of magical. The session began in the state park that surrounds the lighthouse, a picturesque area filled with sandy pathways and vibrant greenery. Liz and Michael’s sweet puppy joined them for the session, adding an extra touch of charm to the shoot. The lush greenery and sandy trails provided a stunning natural setting for the couple’s portraits.

We then made our way to the open areas where the Barnegat Lighthouse stood tall in the background. We strolled along the jetty path, with the serene bay providing a peaceful and scenic backdrop. The water and sky were absolutely stunning, with hues of blue and hints of sunlight reflecting off the surface. The tranquil atmosphere of the bay made for some truly captivating portraits.

As the session progressed, we made our way to the ocean beach a few streets down the island. Walking down the beach access, the soft, white sand set the stage for the next series of photos. As we reached the ocean, the sky lit up with pastel blues, creating a dreamy and romantic setting. Liz and Michael walked along the water’s edge where we got a dreamy mix of candid and posed portraits.

The entire session was a beautiful blend of natural beauty and genuine emotion, capturing the essence of Liz and Michael’s love. The combination of the lighthouse, bay, and ocean provided diverse and stunning backdrops that made this engagement shoot truly unique.
