A Jersey Shore Sunset Engagement On The Water

Tara & Ian’s sunset engagement session was SO dreamy! It took place on the beach in Margate, NJ. Ian is a professional surfer, so a session by the water was a must. We met them by the pier in Margate, as the sun dropped in the sky. The two are getting married on August 18th of next year, so they had a bottle of 818 tequila with a custom label featuring their wedding date, 8/18. How perfect is that?!

After strolling on the pier, we made our way to the beach, where Tara & Ian snuggled up together in the sand, and walked along the water’s edge. Tara’s white dress was so perfect for the setting and her long hair was giving major mermaid vibes as she twirled around. The way the golden light flooded the beach was absolutely magical. We can’t wait to capture this sweet couple’s wedding next year. Scroll to see the magic!

We love photographing love up and down the coast here in NJ. For more of our favorite Jersey Shore engagement sessions, check out this whimsical session, this nautical session, and this adventurous session by the water!
