As natural light photographers who rely on the weather for shooting, we always hope for a nice day and pretty sky at golden hour. That hope turned into such thankfulness on Francesca & Jared’s November wedding day, because we saw one of the most epic sunsets ever after a day of clear weather! The Reeds At Shelter Haven is a Stone Harbor wedding venue, and one of our favorite New Jersey wedding venues on the water. The dock outback is the perfect spot for a first look and the beach is just a few blocks away for coastal bridal party photos and portraits. And don’t worry about walking too far in heels, because The Reeds At Shelter Haven management owns electric carts to transport your bridal party to & from the beach quickly & easily!
The Reeds At Shelter Haven rooms are stunning, and Francesca chose to get ready in one of the suites. The gorgeous light in the room made for the prettiest photos of Francesca & her maids on her wedding morning. The wedding ceremony took place on the back deck of The Reeds, with a view of the water at golden hour. Throughout the ceremony, the sky was getting brighter and more vibrant, and by the time Francesca & Jared said “I do,” the most electric pink took over the entire sky. It was incredibly magical, to say the least, and was a surprise treat for guests as they made the most of the natural photo backdrop!
It was such an honor to capture this beautiful Stone Harbor wedding. Thank you, Francesca & Jared, for having us!
