A Stylish and Lush Terrain Devon Wedding

This love story began nearly a decade ago when Aubrey and Joe were high school juniors. Years later, the two took a vacation to Charleston, North Carolina to celebrate their anniversary. Joe made the trip even more memorable with a heartfelt proposal. He proposed on one knee under a beautiful moss tree along the water at Magnolia Plantation. Their wedding that followed at Terrain Devon was an absolute stunner.

Aubrey and Joe did a lot of searching for the perfect fall wedding venue before finding Terrain Gardens in Devon Pennsylvania. To them, the Terrain Events location felt like a destination wedding but was accessible for their guests. They love that the property is incredibly charming and earthy. The ceremony took place in a lavish outdoor garden space under a beautifully adorned arbor with greenery and string lights. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a prosecco truck that offered prosecco and various popular beers. A&J received countless compliments on the uniqueness of this feature, and for many guests it was a first-time experience to embellish with a cocktail during the ceremony! Dinner took place inside the rustic reception room which was decorated throughout with greenery that complimented Terrain’s modern flair and amenities. The tables were lined with lush green garland on white bohemian runners, tapered candles and lanterns, creating a romantic, cozy and warm obeisance. Aubrey found her dream wedding dress at Lovely Bride in Tribeca NYC. It was a combination of sultry bohemian and intricate lace applique by designer Tara Lauren. She also rocked a Rue de Seine Ride or Die denim jacket that she also found at Lovely Bride. To her, it is unique piece that she can wear often to be reminded of her special day. The couple headed off to Ireland the day after their wedding. It was romantic and beautiful, and they already cannot wait to go back!
