All About The Details!
What To Bring For Your Wedding Day Details
If you're anything like me, you love those detail photos from a wedding. I love remembering all of the small and unique aspects that tell the story of the day. The photos not only compliment well next to other images in your wedding day heirloom album, but they're great for hanging on your walls or placing in frames for a more subtle reminder of your wedding day throughout your house. Detail photos take at least thirty minutes and sometimes up to one hour on your wedding day, depending on the amount of details you'd like photographed.
We recommend setting aside the following a few days or week before the wedding:
-both rings (bride and groom wedding bands)
-a copy of your invitation suite and save the date
-any jewelry the bride will be wearing
-any other sentimental details like a handkerchief, family heirloom, or locket for around your bouquet.
You can place these things in a box or bag and set them off to the side so you don't have to worry about running around and finding them on the day of your wedding, or forgetting to bring something like a copy of your invitations to your getting ready location.
For the day of, you'll want to also have your veil, engagement ring, and bouquet set aside or ready to go as well.
Last but not least, we recommend asking your florist well ahead of time to remember to bring some loose blooms and pieces for us to cut off the stems and play with for the detail photos! The more the better :-)
