Each photographer on our team works with us for a number of years prior to becoming a trusted team member. After being carefully chosen to understudy—ensuring their professionalism, personalities, and work aesthetic align with and represent our mission, values, style and overall vibe—we work one-on-one to refine their craft prior to turning over our esteemed brand to their hands. Our behind-the-scenes team manages all aspects of the details leading up to your wedding day, in addition to directing our post-processing (editing and album design) to ensure each and every photograph matches our signature Magdalena Studios style from start to finish. You will be able to schedule a time to connect for a consultation, where we'll get to know you and answer any questions you have. From there, we’ll put together a customized proposal for you. Once you're ready to secure your date with us, you will be able to make your initial payment (one third of your customized collection) and sign your contract easily online. Both the contract and initial payment reserve your date on our end!
Then, you'll have access to an online portal where all of your records and documents are stored in one safe place, in addition to helpful planning guides, vendor recommendations, and questionnaires. It's time to celebrate checking off one huge task on your wedding planning list!
Throughout the planning process, we are extremely detail oriented and communication focused, and more than happy to assist with any recommendations, questions and referrals. As your date gets closer, we will touch base to schedule a timeline planning consultation and to review details ahead of the day. We provide lots of helpful information and guidance to ensure the wedding day runs efficiently and stress-free. Our refined process includes wedding day worksheets and questionnaires to get to know family dynamics, any important moments, and organize your requested photos and formal shot lists in an efficient way. Our behind the scenes team is like a personal concierge ready to help with any timeline and photography needs, and you'll be connected with your lead photographer to get to know them ahead of the event day!
We always recommend including an engagement session in your experience as it's not only an excuse for more stylistically-aligned photos, but also a great time to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know your photographer (this is once in a lifetime, after all!).
We see such a difference in comfort levels in front of the camera when our couples schedule an engagement session, so we can't emphasize this enough. If you schedule an engagement session, we are here help you decide on a location and any outfit/wardrobe decisions!

Your full online gallery is delivered within 8-12 weeks after the wedding date, and from there, we can assist with printing, framing, designing gallery walls, and creating heirloom wedding albums.
