Born in Paris and raised in the Bronx, Sophie’s love for photography began in high school with film, where she quickly fell in love with the darkroom process and discovered the magic of bringing images to life. Her first digital camera—a $500 Nikon Coolpix—opened the door to new creative possibilities, but her roots in analog photography continue to influence her work today, giving her an unparalleled appreciation for the art of capturing moments with intention.
Sophie studied graphic design in Philadelphia, a city that stole her heart and became the place where she turned her passion for photography into a full-fledged career. As the co-founder of an online fashion magazine, she spent six years producing and photographing editorials, collaborating with creatives from all over the world. Her work is deeply inspired by legendary fashion photographers like Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, and Richard Avedon, and she brings that same timeless, editorial eye to every wedding she captures.
With a background in retouching since she was 14, Sophie has worked with fashion brands and photographers to refine and elevate their imagery. In 2018, she transitioned into the wedding industry, where she has been second shooting and associating ever since. Her approach to photography is all about quality over quantity—she has a sharp eye for detail, a calm presence, and a gentle, supportive way of guiding couples, helping them feel at ease in front of the camera.
Now residing in South Jersey with her husband, baby boy, two cats, and a puppy, Sophie continues to bring her passion for storytelling and artistry into every wedding she captures, creating images that are timeless, thoughtful, and full of emotion.
