Saying we’re excited to share this wedding would be an understatement! Our amazing studio manager, Arianna, tied the knot this summer with her wonderful partner, Ryan. Their wedding was nothing short of magical—an unforgettable celebration that perfectly reflected their love, personalities, and shared passion for summer. As self-proclaimed “summer people,” it was only fitting that they chose a July wedding, and Linwood Country Club provided the perfect backdrop with its stunning grounds, elegant ballroom, and a nod to Ryan’s love for golf.
The day was a seamless blend of beauty and joy, with a color palette of vibrant blues and cheerful yellows, inspired by Arianna and her mother’s shared love for the combination. Every detail felt intentional and deeply personal, making the day as meaningful as it was breathtaking.
The day started with Arianna & her girls getting ready in the bridal suite on-site. Our photography team brought a hand-painted, fine-art backdrop to create a beautiful, unique spot for portraits. While every bride dreams of a perfect wedding day that goes off without a hitch, a small problem arose when Arianna’s gown wouldn’t zip while she was getting ready. Instead of panicking, her mother and mother-in-law came together to sew her into it—a mishap turned cherished memory!
The surprises didn’t stop there. Unbeknownst to Arianna, her photographer (our founder, Magi Fisher) and planner (Krista, who we have the joy of working with often) secretly rebooked the vintage car she had initially canceled, creating an unforgettable moment when she saw it waiting for her. It became the coolest photo-op, with Arianna & Ryan posing in & around the car for portraits. Arianna’s bridesmaids dressed in unique dresses, all made up of a blue & yellow color palette. Magi focused on capturing candid moments of the girls together, which made the gallery feel more real and special.
The weather, too, played its part in the day’s story. With rain threatening the outdoor ceremony, a last-minute downpour almost changed everything. But just as it felt like they might have to move indoors, the skies miraculously cleared, and with minutes to spare, the ceremony was set outside as planned. “Right as we started walking down the aisle, the sun broke through the clouds,” Arianna shared. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, as “Here Comes the Sun” played in the background—a moment that felt like pure fate!
One of the most touching moments of the day came during the ceremony, when Arianna’s older brother, Matthew, who is Autistic, delivered a heartfelt speech he had written almost entirely on his own. “It was so special,” Arianna recalled, a moment that left not a single dry eye in the crowd.
After, the cocktail hour took place under a tent on the patio of Linwood Country Club, although now that the sun was shining, guests mingled all around the surrounding area. And, of course, a golf-loving couple couldn’t have a wedding without a nod to the sport. Ryan’s father hand-crafted a golf-themed seating chart, which doubled as a unique favor for guests, featuring personalized golf balls—a creative and sentimental touch that left a lasting impression.
The reception room was a work of art, with details crafted to perfection by Krista of Champagne Magnolias and florist Betina’s at Parkview. Every table came to life with ornate glassware, candles, and colorful flowers and greenery. Fun fact: the handmade table numbers were actually created and used by one of our wedding clients, Blair, whose wedding we photographed earlier in the year. Arianna, who was a part of the photo team that day, fell in love with the detail. Blair was kind enough to send Arianna the numbers in the mail after her wedding, and Arianna saved them and used them on her own big day!
Every detail, from the vibrant colors to the heartfelt moments, made Arianna and Ryan’s wedding a true reflection of their love. It was a day filled with laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable memories—proof that sometimes, everything falls into place exactly as it’s meant to.
From Arianna: “Our hope and vision was for our wedding to feel like “us” and I believe we accomplished that. We consider ourselves “summer people” so that is why July felt right to us. We fell in love with Linwood right away because of the gorgeous grounds and ballroom and it helps that it was a golf course, since Ryan loves to golf + it is a big part of my family’s lives. I wanted the day to be just as fun as it was beautiful. My mom and I have always loved the combination of yellow and blue, so when I decided to do a summer wedding, I knew that would be the perfect color palette. We had a large bridal party, which I was hesitant about at first, but in hindsight, I could not imagine the day without a single one of them (especially in the morning when my dress did not zip!)!”
