A Coastal-Chic Wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven

It was so much fun capturing Jen and Justin’s wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor. This beautiful waterfront venue is one of our favorites to photograph, and it offered the most stunning backdrop for Jen and Justin’s spring celebration. The day began in one of The Reeds’ gorgeous guest suites overlooking the bay. Jen popped champagne on the deck before slipping into her sleek Grace Loves Lace gown- a timeless silhouette that perfectly fit the relaxed-yet-elegant vibe of the day. From there, she made her way to the back deck for her first look with Justin.

The weather brought a soft fog that blanketed the bay in the most beautiful way. The overcast skies created cozy, coastal lighting that felt romantic and calm. The couple’s portraits against the hazy water were some of our favorites! The soft backdrop allowed Jen and Justin to truly stand out in every frame. The wedding ceremony took place on the back deck at The Reeds, overlooking the bay. A lush floral arbor display by The Manic Botanic added color and texture to the space and made for the dreamiest photo setting. With the water in the distance and their loved ones gathered close, Jen and Justin exchanged vows in a ceremony full of joy and meaning.

After the ceremony, the fog slowly lifted just in time for golden hour. The couple made their way to the iconic dock at The Reeds for sunset portraits. The water remained still and serene, creating the most peaceful and photogenic moment of the day. Inside the ballroom, the celebration was just getting started. Surrounded by their friends and family, Jen and Justin laughed, danced, and celebrated late into the night.
