A Dreamy Hudson House Wedding in Jersey City

We’re so excited to share Leigh & Andrew’s dreamy Hudson House wedding! In the heart of Jersey City, nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of the New York City skyline, lies the Hudson House, a venue that exudes modern elegance and timeless charm. The day began in the chic and modern bridal suite of Hudson House, where Leigh, our radiant bride, prepared for the day. The suite’s contemporary design, combined with natural light, provided the perfect setting for capturing stunning bridal portraits.

The first look was nothing short of magical. On the balcony of Hudson House, with the New York City skyline as the backdrop, Andrew turned to see Leigh for the first time. There was so much emotion, it was a joy to capture! Utilizing the unique architectural elements of Hudson House, we took the couple around the venue for their portrait session. The contrast of the modern structure against the timeless skyline made for stunning, memorable photographs that Leigh and Andrew will cherish forever.

The ceremony, set on the lush lawn of Hudson House, was a picturesque scene. Guests were seated facing the magnificent skyline, providing a view that was both urban and romantic. The couple’s vows were handwritten and sentimental. We could feel the love throughout the ceremony! As the evening approached, with the help of FLORALS by Magnolia, the reception ballroom came alive in a celebration of modernity and timelessness. White florals accented with black and white details created an atmosphere of sophisticated elegance. The space, bathed in soft lighting, perfectly blended contemporary design with classic beauty.

During Leigh and Andrew’s first dance, an unexpected twist added to the magic of the evening – a storm rolled in, lasting just a few minutes, but leaving behind a vivid rainbow. The rainbow against the New York City skyline was a truly amazing sight, making their Hudson House wedding even more memorable! It was such an honor photographing this beautiful couple.
