A Fun & Unique Tennis-Themed Engagement Session

We love when couples bring their personalities and passions into their engagement sessions, and Nicole & Joe’s session was one for the books! Their love for tennis made for such a fun and unique shoot, and we’re obsessed with how these portraits turned out.

It was Nicole’s idea to incorporate a tennis theme, as she and Joe share a love for the sport and play together as a hobby. So, we met them at their local courts, where they brought along some amazing personal touches—custom tennis balls with their wedding date and vintage rackets that added a nostalgic charm to their photos. Their chemistry on the courts was effortless and playful, making every shot feel so natural and true to who they are as a couple. The session perfectly captured not only their love for the game but, more importantly, their love for each other.

After wrapping up on the courts, we made our way to the beach for sunset portraits. The transition from a fun, sporty vibe to a romantic, coastal setting was absolutely perfect. The golden hues of the setting sun cast the most magical glow as Nicole & Joe strolled hand in hand toward the water. The beach was calm, with a gentle ocean breeze and pastel skies painting the perfect backdrop for their final portraits of the evening.

To celebrate their engagement, they popped a bottle of champagne at the water’s edge, soaking in the moment together. It was such a sweet way to wrap up the session, and we couldn’t be more excited for their wedding later this year!
