A Philadelphia Engagement Session With Summer Cocktails!

We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Chrissy and Joe’s stunning engagement session in the heart of Philadelphia. From the timeless charm of Old City to a cozy cocktail moment in Center City, their session was the perfect blend of classic romance and modern flair—and it was so much fun every step of the way! Chrissy and Joe kicked off their engagement session with a more formal look, setting the stage for an elegant stroll around the Merchant’s Exchange Building in Old City, Philadelphia. With its neutral stone architecture, the building provided the perfect backdrop for their timeless style. Chrissy looked absolutely stunning in her sleek outfit, while Joe matched her effortlessly in a sharp suit.

Next, Chrissy switched things up with a fresh, modern look. She changed into a white two-piece set that gave us all the cool-bridal vibes. The crisp white ensemble was perfect for the warm summer day and added a contemporary touch to their engagement session. We wandered through the nearby gardens, taking advantage of the lush greenery and those signature Philly brick walkways for some relaxed, yet stunning portraits.

Next stop: a break for cocktails! We made our way to Pearl & Mary, a charming oyster bar in Center City that became the perfect setting for Chrissy and Joe to unwind. The cozy, European-inspired decor outside of the restaurant added to the romantic ambiance of the evening. It was the perfect spot for them to snuggle up, sip on some drinks, and just be in the moment together. We loved capturing these intimate moments of the two of them enjoying each other’s company, surrounded by the energy of the bustling Philly streets. There’s something so special about photographing couples in real-life settings, and Pearl & Mary’s laid-back yet stylish atmosphere was the perfect setting.

After the outdoor shots, we ventured inside Pearl & Mary for a few more portraits before Chrissy and Joe enjoyed a quiet dinner together. The ambiance inside was equally charming—dim lighting, rustic touches, and the kind of cozy vibe that makes you want to linger over dinner and drinks all night long.
