Lydia & Jeff’s session was the perfect Old City, Philadelphia Engagement! The day started at Merchant’s Exchange building, which is one of our favorite spots for wedding and engagement photos in Philly. They brought along their pup for some family portraits, he was such a star! The surrounding area is so perfect for portraits. We strolled over to the bank where Lydia & Jeff cuddled up on the stairs before strolling through the local park and garden. Down the road, the brick houses and sidewalks made for a beautiful backdrop!
After strolling in Old City for a bit, we made our way to Race Street Pier as the sun dropped. The Ben Franklin Bridge is such a cool element for photos! Lydia & Jeff popped champagne to celebrate their engagement in front of the river. As the sun set, the sky lit up with the prettiest colors, and the lights on the bridge and along the skyline lit up at dusk. It made for such dreamy photos for this sweet couple. We’re so excited to photograph their Philadelphia wedding next year. Scroll to see the magic!
