This September Philadelphia wedding embodied the warmth of late summer and early fall with plenty of natural elements like flowers and foliage, while also incorporating gold metallic tones and textures. The colors were sunset-inspired, with warm shades of dusty pink, peach, cream, marigold, and crimson. The bridesmaids were radiant in gowns by Jenny Yoo in English Rose, while the groomsmen donned crisp Navy suits from Indochino that added a lovely contrast to the softer sunset tones. Guests were welcomed to the ceremony with a modern seating chart & champagne wall. Guests danced the night away, while a live watercolor artist captured the celebration with unique works of art.
Kate’s advice for future brides:
“My best advice for other couples planning their wedding is to make the day yours. There are so many beautiful weddings and trends that it can be easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing. Make the day feel true to you and your partner! Hire vendors who you trust are going to be true to your vision. Take the time to talk to different vendors and make sure that you choose those that you truly connect with. The day of your wedding, take time to be present with your partner. We set aside 15 minutes to be alone in the bridal suite during cocktail hour to just take it all in while enjoying a few uninterrupted moments together on this incredibly special day. Also, don’t stress on your wedding day. Wedding day stress is wasted energy. Nothing is ever going to be exactly as you planned, but you will have so much more fun if you can just let it go and enjoy the party with all the people who love you!”
