A Sunny, Waterfront Wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven

Cassie and Ariel’s wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor was the perfect blend of coastal beauty, joy, and effortless celebration. Set along the bay with clear blue skies overhead, their day felt bright, relaxed, and full of love from beginning to end. As a Philadelphia and Jersey Shore based luxury wedding photography studio, we always love returning to The Reeds. It is one of the most beautiful waterfront venues in New Jersey.

Both brides got ready in separate suites at the venue, each surrounded by their closest people. The Reeds offers the perfect setting for a wedding morning, with natural light pouring into every room and a calm coastal atmosphere that sets the tone for the day. There was such a sense of anticipation and excitement as Cassie and Ariel prepared to see each other.

They shared their first look on the dock, one of our favorite spots at The Reeds. The sky was clear, the water was a vibrant blue, and everything felt still and peaceful. It was truly a magical moment. Seeing them together for the first time, smiling and soaking it all in, was such a joy to capture. Their bridal party joined them on the deck for portraits, bringing even more energy and excitement to the day. The waterfront views created a stunning backdrop as everyone gathered, laughed, and celebrated the moments leading up to the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place outdoors, overlooking the bay on the patio at The Reeds. Surrounded by their family and friends, Cassie and Ariel exchanged vows in a setting that felt both intimate and expansive. The natural beauty of the water paired perfectly with the joy and emotion of the moment. Cocktail hour continued outside, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh coastal air and beautiful views before heading inside for the reception. The ballroom came to life as the celebration began, and the energy never slowed down. The dance floor was packed all night, filled with laughter, movement, and unforgettable moments.

Cassie and Ariel’s connection is something special. Their love is vibrant, genuine, and so much fun to witness.
