Cassie and Martin’s December wedding at Clark’s Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ was the perfect blend of timeless tradition and coastal elegance. As a Jersey Shore luxury wedding photography studio, days like this remind us why we love documenting celebrations by the water in every season!
The morning began at Cassie’s family home in Lavallette, one of the Jersey Shore’s most charming seaside towns. She got ready in her childhood bedroom, which overlooks the ocean. Blue skies and peaceful waves set the tone for the day, creating a calm, sunlit backdrop that felt deeply personal. Surrounded by her closest family and friends, Cassie’s laid-back and kind spirit carried through every moment of the morning. When it was time to leave, she stepped onto the trolley with sunlight pouring around her, officially beginning the next chapter of the day.
Nearby, Martin got ready at a the Spring Lake Chateau Inn & Suites, supported by his closest friends. Before heading to the ceremony, he shared a heartfelt first look with his mom. It was a quiet and meaningful moment that set the tone for the traditional ceremony ahead. Their ceremony was intimate and reverent, culminating in an unforgettable Naval sword exit. Martin’s Navy brothers formed an arch of swords to escort the newlyweds from the church. At each pause beneath the crossed swords, Cassie and Martin sealed their passage with a kiss. It was a joyful and time-honored tradition, and one of the most memorable moments of the day.
Outside the church, we captured sun-soaked portraits of the newly married couple. The winter light was soft yet radiant, giving their just-married moments a warm glow. From there, we made our way to Clark’s Landing Yacht Club, a stunning bayside venue known for its panoramic water views and elegant ballroom.
Before the celebration began, we stepped onto the beach behind the venue with the bridal party as the sun began to dip lower in the sky. The golden tones reflected beautifully off the water, creating the dreamiest setting for portraits. We finished with couples portraits on the dock during golden hour. The calm bay, glowing sunlight, and quiet December air made for some of our favorite images of the day. As night fell, the reception came to life. Cassie and Martin danced the evening away surrounded by family and friends, celebrating a day rooted in love, tradition, and the beauty of the Jersey Shore.
