An Adventurous, Fairytale Campground Wedding in the Poconos Mountains

Catherine and Ryan’s lakeside fall wedding took place at Camp Canadensis in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania and was photographed by our team, Ashley and Kelee. Throughout the weekend, the wedding guests stayed in cabins and partook in summer camp activities such as archery, kayaking, yoga and ropes courses! The couple decided on black tie attire to contrast perfectly with the rustic and outdoorsy details and scenery. This Pocono Mountain forest wedding was an absolute fairytale. And Catherine’s dress made her into the most stunning forest fairy, fit for her woodland fairytale wedding!
Catherine left no detail out while planning. She rented colorful furniture to turn the camp yoga studio into a getting ready suite. Ryan prepped for the day in a cabin with his guys. Their first look took place among the Pocono Mountain forest trees, and the ceremony had the backdrop of the beautiful lake! Their tented reception was romantic and magical, with twinkling lights and cozy lounges for guests. Catherine and Ryan celebrated the night away surrounded by the Pocono Mountains with their family and friends on the dance floor!
