An Elegant Husdon House Wedding

We’re still swooning over Katie and Mitko’s stunning wedding day at the luxurious Hudson House in Jersey City, NJ. From the moment Katie began getting ready to the last dance at their reception, every detail was chic, modern, and effortlessly elegant. Surrounded by the gorgeous New York City skyline, the entire day was perfect. Katie’s began her day with the perfect blend of elegance and modern luxury. Her getting-ready details were so chic—sleek, minimalistic, and full of sophistication. Her glamorous gown was the ideal fit for the stunning Hudson House venue.

Once Katie was ready, we headed to the rooftop of Hudson House, where she and Mitko shared a quiet, romantic moment with the iconic NYC skyline as their backdrop. The amazing views of the city made this moment even more magical. Fun fact: early in their relationship, Katie and Mitko shared an unforgettable date jet skiing around the Statue of Liberty in the NY Harbor. So, it only felt fitting to capture a few portraits with the famous landmark in the background.

After the first look, the bridal party joined Katie and Mitko on the rooftop for more portraits. We love how these turned out—they’re equal parts elegant and fun. The whole group looked absolutely stunning. One of the most beautiful moments of the day was the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Katie and Mitko dressed in traditional attire and shared tea with their families. It was a beautiful moment, full of deep cultural significance, and we’re so happy to have captured it. The couple’s traditional clothing was so striking, and their joy and love for one another radiated in every photo.

Later, it was time for the ceremony, and it couldn’t have been more picturesque. The outdoor wedding ceremony took place on the lawn at Hudson House, with a stunning floral arch framing the couple and the iconic NYC skyline in the background. It was a breathtaking setting—modern, yet romantic—and the couple exchanged personal vows that were heartfelt and sincere.

The celebration continued in Hudson House’s sleek, modern ballroom. The tables were adorned with minimalist modern details, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly complemented the day’s elegance. Katie and Mitko shared their first dance as husband and wife, and surprised guests with epic sparklers on the dance floor.
