An Enchanted Ashford Estate Wedding

Courtney and Jeff’s wedding at The Ashford Estate was a day marked by heartfelt vows, elegant decor, and moments of pure joy. The day began in the estate’s luxurious bridal suite, where Courtney, surrounded by her closest friends, popped champagne with her bridesmaids while getting ready. We love when couples get creative on their special day, and make choices that are right for them. Courtney and Jeff chose to forgo a first look, opting instead for a profoundly intimate moment of private vows. They met in the gardens where they read private vows with each other. Standing back to back, they avoided seeing each other. It was an emotional moment, and the happy tears were flowing!

The ceremony, held in the estate’s barn chapel, was a vision. White florals and lush greenery created a serene and enchanting atmosphere, perfectly complementing the rustic charm of the venue. Courtney and Jeff saw each other for the first time, and said their “I do’s!” The Ashford Estate grounds, with it’s breathtaking beauty, served as the ideal backdrop for capturing the couple’s newlywed portraits. The vibrant gardens added a natural pop of color that made for such gorgeous photos.

As the day transitioned to evening, guests were welcomed into a reception ballroom that mirrored the day’s earlier elegance, infused with modern sophistication. The decor featured the same ethereal florals and greenery, now accented with simple black accessories that lent a contemporary edge to the space. Courtney and Jeff’s first dance was a highlight, their joy and love for each other were infectious, making it a delight to capture. Their happiness radiated, filling the room with laughter and warmth.

Before the night concluded, we got to capture a final, magical moment shared between Courtney and Jeff. Escaping the festivities, we snuck away for a late-night portrait session by candlelight.
