An Italian Destination Wedding In Lake Como, Italy
This beautiful destination wedding took place in the mountains of Varenna, in Lake Como, Italy at the breathtaking Hotel Villa Cipressi. This wedding was extra special to us, as the groom, Doug, is the brother of Magdalena Studios co-owner, Scott. Doug and his beautiful bride Lauren first met in a very unique way! Lauren happened to be sitting next to Magi on a plane. Magi thought that she and Doug would be the perfect match, so she set them up on a blind date. The rest is history! Lauren has been close friends with Magi ever since, and Lauren even officiated Magi & Scott’s wedding.
Lauren & Doug’s destination wedding was photographed by team photographer Kelee. The details of this day were so dreamy! Lauren’s chic accessories and details paired perfectly with her romantic gown from Bella Bridal Couture. The two said their vows in front of a circular floral arrangement by Riccardo Ciceri, with stunning views of Lake Como behind it. Everywhere you turn at this gorgeous location is photo-worthy, so the portraits were absolutely stunning!
The outdoor reception at this dreamy Lake Como wedding was complete with a family-style dining table with hanging elements. The sun set over the lake as golden light flooded the reception space. We danced the night away under the stars celebrating this amazing couple!
