Traditional Meets Modern at This Philadelphia Wedding at The Switch House by Cescaphe

Kelly and Mike’s wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern city style. Their day took them from the grand, historic beauty of the Villanova Church to the contemporary charm of The Switch House by Cescaphe, two stunning locations that set the scene for an unforgettable wedding day.

The day began in The Switch House bridal suite, a space we love for its balance of industrial edge and soft, feminine details. The suite is split into two connected rooms, which creates such a great flow for getting ready. Kelly slipped into her ballgown in the intimate dressing area, and when she stepped out, she looked like royalty- classic, poised, and glowing!

The couple’s ceremony took place at the iconic Villanova Church, a breathtaking cathedral with soaring ceilings, stained glass, and incredible architecture. The traditional ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments as Kelly and Mike exchanged vows in front of family and friends. Afterward, we captured portraits on the steps of the church — the golden light and stone detailing made for the dreamiest backdrop.

Back at The Switch House, we spent time exploring the space with Kelly and Mike, photographing them in all the signature spots. From the cozy lounge area to the modern bar and the dramatic staircase, every space offered a stylish, editorial backdrop that suited the couple perfectly. We loved how effortless and in love they were throughout it all. The celebration continued in the Switch House ballroom, where guests danced the night away beneath modern lighting and city-inspired decor. Kelly and Mike brought the energy, and the party was full of joy, laughter, and all the best dance floor moments.
