A Charming Wedding At The Reeds At Shelter Haven

Emily and Zach’s wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor, NJ, was a beautiful celebration filled with love, laughter, and personal touches that made their day truly unique. Our team of New Jersey wedding photographers had the pleasure of capturing every special moment, and we’re excited to share their story! The day started with getting ready in luxurious suites on site, which always provide a beautiful backdrop for photos. Emily & her girls hung out in the room and posed for some fun photos before getting into their dresses.

Emily and Zach shared their first look on the dock outside The Reeds. Bridal party portraits took place in front of the stunning ceremony arbor, designed by More Flower to You. The vibrant florals and lush greenery provided a gorgeous backdrop for these cherished photos. After the portraits, we all strolled down the street for a fun and memorable stop at Wawa. Emily, originally from the area but now living in the South with Zach, has a special fondness for Wawa and makes sure to visit whenever she’s home. It was a blast to capture some candid and personality-filled photos of the couple at this beloved local spot, perfectly reflecting their fun-loving, go-with-the-flow nature.

The walk back to The Reeds was filled with more portrait opportunities, capturing the couple’s relaxed and candid moments. The ceremony took place on the back deck of Jersey Shore venue, with the serene water providing a beautiful backdrop. Emily and Zach shared heartfelt personal vows, surrounded by family and friends, making the ceremony even more touching and intimate.

The reception space was filled with white florals, greenery, and candles that adorned each table, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite an overcast sky for most of the day, the sky lit up with stunning colors during the sunset! We took advantage of this magical moment, capturing romantic portraits of Emily and Zach on the dock against the beautiful backdrop.

The evening continued with a lively reception where the couple danced the night away with their loved ones. Emily and Zach’s wedding was a beautiful blend of personal touches, emotional moments, and elegant details. It was an honor to document their special day. Scroll to see the magic!
