A Classic, Timeless Wedding At Holy Cross Church In Rumson, NJ

Ellie and Rob’s wedding day was the perfect blend of tradition, intention, and coastal romance. The Jersey Shore has always held a special place in their story. It’s where they first fell in love, so it was only fitting that their celebration was filled with subtle seaside nods from beginning to end.

Ellie got ready at a home near the shore, surrounded by her closest people. She slipped into a breathtaking Monique Lhuillier lace gown, styled with not one but two veils- a classic cathedral veil for those dramatic moments and a short blusher that added a chic, fashion-forward touch. Her look was the ideal mix of timeless and modern, completely her.

The ceremony took place at Holy Cross Church in Rumson, New Jersey, a stunning coastal cathedral and architectural masterpiece. Inside, Ellie and Rob exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony before exiting to one of the most meaningful moments of their entire day: a massive receiving line of cheering guests waiting outside the church. Their joy was unmistakable, and capturing that moment of pure celebration was unforgettable!

Their bridal party joined in for portraits, surrounding them with laughter and energy. We stayed on the church grounds just as Ellie & Rob had envisioned, using the gardens, greenery, and sweeping architecture as backdrops. Ellie’s cathedral veil caught the breeze as she and Rob soaked in their first quiet moments as husband and wife, simple, romantic, and incredibly sweet!

From there, the celebration moved to Windows On the Water at Surfrider Beach Club. The reception space carried the coastal charm forward with refined seaside details and chic, colorful signage by By Mia & Co. Once the lights dimmed and the music kicked in, the party never stopped! The dance floor was full all night. Ellie and Rob’s wedding was everything a shore wedding should be: elegant, heartfelt, and so full of joy.
