A Coastal Fall Wedding at ICONA Avalon

Kaitlin & Michael’s wedding day at ICONA Avalon was a stunning celebration of love, family, and cherished memories. With a classic coastal theme infused with sentimental details, every moment felt deeply meaningful and beautifully intentional. The day began in the beachfront bridal suite at ICONA, where Kaitlin’s feminine and classic details came together perfectly. Soft blue hues were woven throughout, complementing the breezy, seaside setting. She looked absolutely timeless in her bridal look, exuding elegance with every detail.

One of the most touching aspects of the day was the way Kaitlin’s father’s presence was felt throughout. Though he passed away before she and Michael got together, feathers have always been a sign of his love for their family. In the sweetest tribute, her mom wore feathers on her dress, her bridesmaids wore feather-trimmed pajamas, and Michael even tucked a feather inside his morning card and gift to her. It was such a beautiful reminder that her dad was with them in spirit on this special day.

After Kaitlin & Michael exchanged vows in a local church wedding ceremony, we made our way to the beach for portraits. The lighting was a dream, casting a soft and romantic glow over the sand and waves. The couple took a few quiet moments together to share private, personal vows. Their bridal party soon joined them for some fun, lively photos along the shore, bringing even more joy and energy to the gallery. Kaitlin’s veil floated effortlessly in the ocean breeze, adding an ethereal charm to every shot. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, the couple strolled hand in hand up the beach path toward ICONA Avalon, soaking in the final moments of golden hour.

Inside, the reception space was breathtaking thanks to planner Shannon Wellington Weddings and florist Betinas at Parkview. The ballroom was transformed into a romantic, floral-filled dream, with blue candles, ornate glassware, blue tablecloths, and lush floral centerpieces adorning every table. Flowers even hung from the ceiling, creating an incredible, immersive atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a night full of love, laughter, and celebration.
