A Cool & Romantic Cape May Engagement Session

Taylor & Matt’s Cape May engagement session was an absolute dream! With coastal elegance, sentimental locations, and their adorable pup joining in, every moment felt so personal and meaningful. We met up with them at Congress Hall, a historic Cape May landmark that set the perfect scene for the start of their session. They sipped on cocktails and took a relaxed stroll around the grounds, soaking in the charm of this special place. Then, we made our way across the street to the beach where Taylor has spent so much time with her family. It was so special capturing their portraits in a spot filled with so many cherished memories.

These two were serving total “cool couple” vibes with their elegant attire—a perfect contrast to the natural, serene beach backdrop. The blue of the ocean was absolutely stunning, and as the waves rolled in, we captured some truly timeless and romantic moments.

Next, we made our way to another beach in town, in the neighborhood where Taylor’s parents live. This time, their sweet pup joined in for some family portraits! We always love when our couples include their fur babies in their engagement sessions—it makes the photos that much more special. As the sun began to set, Taylor & Matt strolled along the water’s edge, the sky glowing with warm hues of orange and pink. It was one of those magical Cape May evenings where everything felt just right. The love between these two was so effortless to capture, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful night.
