A Joy-Filled Stone Harbor Wedding Weekend

Jessica and Chad’s wedding weekend was one of those celebrations that stays with you long after it ends. Full of genuine moments, effortless joy, and meaningful time with loved ones, it was the kind of wedding that reminds us why we love what we do. The weekend began with their rehearsal dinner in Stone Harbor, where we captured a few relaxed portraits as Jessica and Chad welcomed their guests and officially kicked off the celebration. The connection between them is undeniable, and it shines through in every photo. They spent the evening mingling, laughing, and soaking in the excitement of the days ahead.

On the wedding morning, Jessica embraced a fully photojournalistic approach. There were no staged moments or do-overs, just real life unfolding as it happened. From quiet in-between moments to joyful anticipation, the morning felt authentic and true to who she is, which made documenting it especially meaningful. The ceremony took place at a local chapel in Stone Harbor. It was traditional and heartfelt, and when Jessica and Chad exited the church, they were met with cheers and embraces from their family and friends. The energy was electric as they stepped into married life surrounded by so much love.

After the ceremony, the couple strolled down the road toward The Reeds at Shelter Haven, and some of our favorite moments of the day happened along the way. They made their way onto the dock, where a decorated boat filled with their closest friends was waiting. Champagne was popped, music played, and laughter filled the air as they danced and celebrated together under clear blue skies. The boat cruised through the harbor on the way to cocktail hour at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, where guests gathered along the dock, cheering as Jessica and Chad arrived. It was such a joyful welcome and the perfect transition into the evening celebration.

Inside the Yacht Club, the reception space hosted dinner and dancing as the party continued. At one point, Jessica slipped away with her closest friends to change into a chic party dress. We followed along to capture the moment, and the energy was unmatched. When she strutted back onto the dance floor, the room erupted, giving us some of the most fun photos of the night. Jessica and Chad’s wedding day was pure joy from start to finish. It was honest, celebratory, and full of heart. Days like this leave us feeling inspired and so grateful to tell stories like theirs!
