A Mountaintop Wedding At Mountain Creek’s Red Tail Lodge
Michele & Derrick’s mountaintop wedding took place at Mountain Creek’s Red Tail Lodge. During the winter, this New Jersey venue is a snow-covered ski resort. During the summer, they host epic weddings for adventurous couples like this. The deep greenery in the detail photos provided a timeless vibe and matched the greenery of the mountain setting perfectly. Michele got ready in a modern bridal suite at Red Tail Lodge, and then made her way to the top of the mountain to meet Derrick for a first look.
The only way up and down the mountain is by ski lift, how cool is that!? The ceremony space had an epic view of the valley and mountain ranges in the distance. It was an amazing spot for portraits! Michele’s bridesmaids rocked emerald green dresses from Azazie and the groomsmen picked off-white suits from Generation Tux.
The ceremony arch was adorned with florals by Marilyn’s Flower Shoppe. We couldn’t get enough of that backdrop! After the ceremony, everyone made their way back down the mountain for a celebration in the ballroom at Red Tail Lodge. It was so much fun capturing this epic day for such a cool couple.
