A Wedding At The Reeds With Perfect Spring Details

Rachel and Reese’s wedding at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, was a magical day, complete with perfect details for Spring! The day began with Rachel getting ready in her family’s beautiful coastal home. There’s something so special about couples choosing locations with personal significance, and this choice added an intimate touch to the preparations. Surrounded by her favorite girls, Rachel popped champagne and got ready for the day. It was so much fun photographing her twirling her beautiful Alexandra Grecco gown with ocean views in the back.

The ceremony took place in a charming local chapel, where the couple exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. Following the ceremony, we captured portraits of the newlyweds and their bridal party at their coastal home. The stunning beach backdrop, with a perfect blue sky, provided a picturesque setting that perfectly complemented our sweet couple. The natural beauty of Stone Harbor shone through in every photo, it was such a joy to capture.

The reception at The Reeds at Shelter Haven was spectacular. Thanks to the incredible work of Love Haus Events and RAM Floral, the space was transformed into a work of art. The color scheme of blues and pinks was ideal for the spring day, and unique patterns, textures, and floral arrangements adorned each table, adding elegance and charm to the celebration. We even captured Rachel’s & Reese’s reactions to seeing the space for the first time. They were so full of joy seeing their vision come to life!

As the sun began to set, we took the opportunity to capture some romantic portraits of Rachel & Reese on the dock. The soft, golden light of the sunset provided a dreamy atmosphere. It’s always one of our favorite parts of weddings at The Reeds! A special detail that added to the magic of the day was the marquee sign at the local movie theater, which gave a special shoutout to our newlyweds. Seeing their names in lights at night made for an unforgettable photo opportunity.

Later in the night, Rachel & Reese poured an espresso martini tower for their guests on the dance floor, adding an extra fun, memorable moment to the festivities. It was an honor to capture these moments for this lovely couple. Scroll to see the magic!
