An Epic, Nautical Lake Como, Italy Destination Portrait Session

This destination portrait session in Lake Como, Italy is very special and sentimental for us! Lauren & Doug are part of the Magdalena Studios family, as Doug is Magi’s brother-in-law and Lauren is one of her close friends. The two planned their wedding and chose our team to photograph the events!

Lauren and Doug picked Lake Como, Italy as the destination for their beautiful wedding. It took place at Hotel Villa Caprissi in Varenna, Italy. The grounds of the hotel are perfect for photos and the mountaintop backdrop left us speechless. In the days leading up to the wedding, they boarded a boat for an epic portrait session at sunset. They made their way down the cliffside to the dock and cozied up with wine glasses in hand. After their time on the boat, they explored the hotel grounds and watched the sunset from their private balcony. Scroll to see all the magic!
