A Dreamy Coastal Wedding at ICONA Diamond Beach

Emily and CJ’s wedding at ICONA Diamond Beach was dreamy coastal perfection, and we are so happy to finally share it. These two are high school sweethearts, and it was a joy to capture their wedding after their fourteen years together.

They both got ready at the venue, which set a calm and beautiful tone for the morning. ICONA Diamond Beach is a stunning property on the Jersey Shore, and the team at Kelab Events made the day even more gorgeous. Emily and CJ had been coming to the shore their whole lives, so when they toured the venue and stood there looking out at the beach, the decision was simple. As Emily put it, they just fell in love with it and knew the beach location could not be beat!

The first look took place on a path lined with palm trees, where they shared personal vows with each other. From there, we headed to the beach for portraits, and the light and the setting did everything we hoped they would. Blues and whites, soft pinks and peachy tones, natural textures of the shore, it all came together perfectly.

The ceremony took place on the same beach. The space was filled with florals in their soft coastal palette, with arrangements lining every single row on both sides of the aisle. At the front, a stunning U-shaped floral arrangement framed the couple on the ground, with the beach stretching out behind them as the backdrop. The gold band on CJ took during the ceremony belonged to Emily’s grandfather. They had it engraved with her initials and the year, and inside it still carries her grandmother’s initials and the year 1922. Something borrowed and something old and something irreplaceable, all in one small, meaningful ring.

The reception was held under an open-air tent right on the beach at ICONA Diamond Beach, and from the moment guests walked in, it was clear that every single element had been considered. A welcome sign with shell detail set the tone at the entrance. A custom seating chart in coastal colors and textures guided guests to their seats. A custom bar dressed in a floral pattern was a showstopper in its own right. Every table was styled with florals and coastal elements that felt cohesive and intentional without ever feeling overdone. The dance floor was custom, with Emily and CJ’s new family name in the center. One of our favorite details of the day was the wine served at the reception. Emily and CJ made it themselves.
