TEAM philosophy

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of speaking at a NACE event with my good friend Shannon Wellington of Shannon Wellington Weddings (an incredible wedding planner) and Sarah Slotnick, the editor of Philadelphia Wedding Magazine… and it was such an honor! NACE Philadelphia is a community and group for Philadelphia and South Jersey wedding vendors, and by being a member, they offer incredible networking and educational opportunities. Shannon, Sarah, and I presented to the members on June 11th at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia on the topic of styled shoots and getting published in the realm of the wedding industry. We followed up with a live styled shoot with some really awesome vendors! It was such an honor being a part of this event and speaking to the Philadelphia wedding industry on this topic! My biggest points were taking an editorial approach to everything you do as a photographer – whether that means moving things in the background like chairs or bread on the table, straightening silverware and plates, and taking this discerning eye to all levels of your approach on wedding days. It was so much fun putting this together with Shannon and being a part of this event! Thank you SO much for having me NACE!
