For Brides & GRooms

Hi there! Welcome to the Magdalena Studios blog, a journal where we share weddings, travel, resources for brides & entrepreneurs, and a glimpse of our lives. When we're not photographing some of the most romantic weddings around the world, we're either fixing up our beach bungalow, surfing and swimming in the ocean, or cooking up veggie burgers. Alongside my (soon-to-be) husband Scott and our trustworthy team of creatives, our life mission is to capture joyful love stories and effortless real-life moments.

A Summer Wedding in Scranton, Pennsylvania

Scranton PA Wedding Photography by Magdalena Studios 0020

A Scranton, Pennsylvania Wedding By The Magdalena Studios Team

This Scranton, PA wedding at Glenmaura National Golf Club was photographed so beautifully by the Magdalena Studios Team! Tara envisioned her wedding as minimalistic and natural, and it was a gorgeous example of how simple can be elegant and beautiful. If you’re looking for a Scranton wedding venue, we highly recommend checking out GNGC!

This sweet couple said “I do” at a local church in Scranton and then headed over to Glenmaura National Golf Club to celebrate! The hunter green bridesmaid dresses fit right in among the vibrant greenery of the golf club and the groomsmen were dapper in classic black tuxes and bowties. Tara’s elegant wedding gown added a timeless element to the photos. The wedding reception tables were adorned with lush greenery and simple details to make the centerpieces pop. At the end of the night, Tara surprised Patrick with a firework show! Keep scrolling to see the magic!
